Cross training rate (F)

Definition: It measures the percentage of employees that received training on knowledge or skills needed in other departments.

Calculation steps:

  1. identify the employees that received training on other abilities/skills/knowledge than those needed for their current role
  2. identify the average number of employees within the company in the time frame
  3. divide the total number of cross trained employees to the average number of employees
